Jointmeters

Applications

Jointmeter01Jointmeters are used to monitor movement at joints and cracks in concrete and rock.

  • Monitoring joints for unexpected movement to provide early warning of performance problems
  • Monitor joints and cracks in structures that may be affected by nearby construction activities.
  • Monitor cracks in structures that have experienced seismic activity.

Types of Jointmeters

VW Crackmeter

Jointmeter02The VW crackmeter is used to monitor movement at joints and cracks in concrete structures or rock.

Advantages: High Accuracy 0.3 mm, Two Ranges available in 60 and 100 mm ranges, Temperature Measurement with a temperature sensor, Manual or easily to connect with data logger for unattended monitoring.

For more information please refer to datasheet.

VW Embedment Jointmeters

Jointmeter03The VW embedment jointmeter is used to monitor movement at joints in mass-concrete structures such as abutments, foundations, and dams.

Advantages: high accuracy 0.5% full scale and a repeatability of ±0.3 mm, allow approximately 10 mm of shear movement in any direction, temperature measurement, can connects easily to a data logger for unattended monitoring.

For more information please refer to datasheet.
